Training and Development Manager

Redspot Car Rentals, who recently introduced the world’s leading car rental brands; Enterprise, Alamo & National into the Australian & New Zealand markets has an exciting opportunity within it’s organisation for the new position of a Training and Development Manager.
This position will have responsibility to plan, communicate and implement training across all brands as well as performance improvement initiatives. This can include systems, sales, customer service, production training for new hires, recurrent training, follow up, and on-the-job coaching and productivity measurements.

Our ideal candidate is a team player, possesses a proven work ethic, highly detail-oriented, organised and able to consistently meet deadlines while producing accurate results. We are looking for an extremely reliable individual who can adapt to change, absorb and apply new information, and who has the determination to learn detailed processes.

This role will requires you to have an outstanding professional image, ability to successfully communicate to all employment levels, diligent focus, keen time management, and exceptional presentation skills, as well as the ability to work with management to develop training initiatives to achieve the performance goals of the Group. This person will be an integral part of the company.

Responsibilities:

This position requires a person with strong sales orientation and responsibilities would include but are not limited to:

  • Facilitate interactive training sessions that engage a diverse audience; including Rental Sales Officers, Branch Manager & Assistant Branch Manager Training, Management Development etc.
  • Design training materials
  • Develop measurable training that contributes to the increased performance level of employees using company specific software
  • Provide feedback to management on employee performance
  • Implement Corporate-developed training programs
  • Manage multiple training programs, coordinate facilitators and back-up sessions as needed
  • Monitor and maintain training materials to ensure they are up to date and relevant
  • Perform administrative tasks related to planning, communicating, and conducting training

  • Ability to lead meetings and discussions with management teams to plan training sessions
  • Able to work independently or in a team
  • Exceptional personal presentation, demeanour and image
