Staying in Wanaka, ski:

Treble Cone – has the highest vertical rise of the four fields and is a popular destination for experienced skiers. A 35-minute drive from Wanaka and 75 minutes from Queenstown

Cardrona Alpine Resort – is family-friendly and also has intermediate and advanced tracks. A 35-minute drive from Wanaka and an hour from Queenstown.

Christchurch – Mt Hutt
