When you rent your vehicle through Redspot Car Rentals you are responsible for the vehicle and ensuring it is returned in the same condition that is was at the start of the rental. In the off chance that any damage should occur, you will be liable for the amount of the Damage liability you have elected at the time of collecting the vehicle.

Below is a table of liability amounts that are either included (CDL) or available for you to reduce (CDW/SCDW) at the time of collecting the vehicle.

Windscreen, Headlights and Tyres Damage Waiver (WHT):

WHT is included in our Top Dog All Inclusive rate, and can be purchased as an additional coverage on the other rates.

Premium Road Side Assistance:

This is the roadside assistance service that kicks in where standard breakdown service ends. Premium Roadside Assistance covers those times when you just need a helping hand to get on your way.

Services offered in the Premium Roadside Assistance program include:

  • Change a flat tyre (install vehicles spare tyre).
  • Key replacement or lockout service if you are locked out of your car.
  • Fuel delivery – up to 15 Litres at no charge if you run out of fuel.
  • Jump starting your car if the battery is run flat (lights left on)
  • $150.00 of accommodation or transport costs (reimbursement of expenses as a result of a rental car breakdown).

Premium Roadside Assistance is there to help you 24/7. Please Note: In order to keep the costs for this service to a minimum, this service will be coordinated by the local roadside assistance provider. You will need to be present with the vehicle for the service to be undertaken. If you lock your keys in the car, or leave your lights on, you won’t be financially liable for any call out fees or towing costs.
