Have you ever considered Feng Shui-ing your car? It’s not as funny as it sounds, especially when you take into account the time we spend driving. Feng Shui is all about creating good energy and bringing that energy into your life (or your car’s interior).

Here are some tips to get you started:

Keep it Clean

A messy cluttered car floor is Feng Shui’s number 1 enemy. Always take your rubbish with you and keep necessary items in the glove box. Clutter inside a car builds up negative energy over time, creating depression and tension. Keeping your car free of clutter will guarantee good Feng Shui.

Clean your Car Windows

Keep your windows as clean as possible. If there’s a crack in your windscreen, regardless how small or big it is, you must repair it immediately. This is because the windows represent our eyes, so if you are driving a car with cracked or broken windows, you will have a blurred and cracked vision toward the future.

Do you have a lucky License Number?

Here are some Feng Shui masters’ number representations:

0 = money

1 = guaranteed good luck

2 = easy prosperity and/or earning, even while sleeping

3 = forever

4 = death

5 = me

6 = the road to

7 = conflict

8 = double prosperity

9 = doubling

This is why Chinese love the number “168” because it implies “Good Luck road to double prosperity”.

If you haven’t got a ‘lucky’ number plate, don’t panic, it’s easy to remedy. Just create a “168” sticker and place it on the back of your plate to revert the bad luck.

Avoid Wild Animal Mascots and Sharp Objects

If you are a fan of stuffed toys especially snakes, tigers, lions or any other wild beast, you should reconsider, because they attract negative vibes that symbolise death and killing. Sharp and pointed ornaments, like swords dangling from rear vision mirrors are also a no, no.

If you can’t live without a bit of dashboard décor

Then think auspicious – what signs or symbols are favourable to you? For example, if you’re single and looking for love, why not place your ‘best match’ symbol on your dashboard and draw that special person into your life? Follow the table below:

If you’re a… Your Best Match is…
