**Contract fee: We have a small surcharge to cover our costs to draw up our rental agreement with you.
***Premium location fee: Sometimes a premium airport or downtown location will charge us an additional surcharge for each rental and we are upfront about this cost in your package! The price will depend on the location selected.

Redspot Driver Facts.
Share the ride with additional drivers:
We can easily add additional drivers to your car rental booking. The driver will need to show their full valid driver’s licence in any branch and provide a credit card for a daily surcharge. Too easy!
Rev-Up for Young Drivers:
We are one of the few car rental companies to have a minimum driver age of 21!
Note that drivers under 25 will pay a daily surcharge on their car rental fee. Car hire is limited to small to medium-sized sedans and hatchbacks.
Don’t sweat the paperwork:
If you are a first-time renter, all we need is one (1) document with your address on it. Returning customers, all you need to bring for collection is your valid driver’s licence and credit card. If it’s your first time renting locally, you’ll also need to bring a third form of identification like a current utility bill. We will take care of the rest!
Overseas visitors welcome:

- A full valid driver’s licence and passport
- Licences must have photo identification

Do I need a credit card to rent a car in Australia?
Yes. You will need a valid Visa, MasterCard or American Express in your name to rent with us.
Are you located inside the Brisbane Domestic Terminal?
Yes, our friendly Redspot team is located inside the Brisbane Domestic Terminal! We have desks inside both the Virgin Australia and Qantas Domestic Terminals, right next to the baggage reclaim area.
If the desk is unmanned, head to our main office by following the pedestrian signs to the car rental car park (Ground Floor). This is also where you will find your rental vehicle, which is ready to roll whenever you are.
What do you need to hire a car in QLD (Queensland)?
We’ll always try to see you off as quickly as we can, but we do need to review some documents before sending you on your way.
Here’s what you’ll need to bring when hiring a car in Queensland:
Driver’s licence doesn’t display your current home address? (Don’t worry, we’ve all been there!) In this case, you’ll also need to supply ID with this information, like a utility bill.
Credit card in renter’s name and purchase order or prepaid voucher if you haven’t booked direct.
Valid driver’s licence/s for yourself and any additional drivers. If your licence is not in English, please include a translation provided by your embassy or home country traffic authority.
Your passport (if you’re an overseas visitor)
How to return a rental car at Brisbane Airport?
Need to return your Redspot rental car? Wrap up your Brisbane adventures by taking the slip road on the right into the Domestic Airport P1 Car Park and following the signs. (For Brisbane International Airport returns, take the road under the Arrivals ramp and turn left into the rental area.)
Park your rental car at the designated Redspot parking bay and return the car keys to Redspot’s rental counter nearby. Too easy!
