*Damage liability excess: ‘Amount reduced by’ is dependent on the vehicle type and hire itinerary selected. See our Car Rental Cover page for more information.
**Contract fee: We have a small surcharge to cover our costs to draw up our rental agreement with you.
***Premium location fee: Sometimes a premium airport or downtown location will charge us an additional surcharge for each rental and we are upfront about this cost in your package! The price will depend on the location selected.
****Registration recovery fee: We pay a surcharge to cover our vehicle registration and compulsory third-party insurance costs and we highlight this clearly in your package breakdown.

- Offer: This offer entitles you to a 15% discount off the rental rate only. Discount does not apply to other optional items.
- Offer Valid: This offer is subject to vehicle availability and may not be used in conjunction with any other promotional offer, discounted rate, previous or existing reservations. Offer may be recinded or changed at any point in future. All existing bookings will maintain discount, after removal new bookings will not maintain discount. Blackout dates for rental voucher are 22/12/2025 to 04/01/2026, 27/06/2026 to 12/07/2026 min age restriction, drivers’ licence and a valid credit card and a rental bond must be provided at the time of booking or rental collection

- Valid Vehicle Classes: Offer applies in Australia to all vehicle groups. All vehicles are subject to availability at time of booking.
- Eligibility: Hirer must provide proof of active premiership year membership at time of collection.
Exclusions: Offer excludes optional products and services, fuel, additional charges such as airport taxes and sundry fees and the GST that applies to these charges. Where is Redspot located at the airport?
Redspot is proudly on-airport, with rental counters conveniently located inside the terminal buildings at all major Australian airports. No shuttle buses, no waiting — just land, collect your keys, and go.
Can provisional (P-plate) drivers rent a car with Redspot?
Yes! Redspot is one of the few Australian rental companies that welcomes provisional licence holders. Simply present your valid P licence, and you’re good to hit the road.
What do I need to bring when picking up my rental car?
You’ll need your valid driver’s licence, a physical or digital credit card in the main driver’s name, and a booking confirmation (printed or digital). International renters should bring their passport and an international driving permit if required.
Is there an age limit for hiring a car?
You must be at least 21 years old to rent most vehicles, with a full or provisional licence. Drivers under 25 may incur a young driver surcharge, depending on the vehicle category.
What happens if my flight is delayed?
No stress — if you’ve entered your flight number in your booking, our on-airport teams monitor arrivals and will hold your car for a reasonable time after your flight lands.
Do I need to refuel before returning the car?
Unless you’ve pre-purchased fuel, yes — please return your vehicle with a full tank. For airport rentals, service stations are usually located just outside the terminal area.
