Brisbane Domestic Airport
Whether you’ve just arrived or are wrapping up your Brisbane adventure, our Domestic Airport branch is easy to reach. Just follow the signs to the domestic terminal of Brisbane Airport, then follow the car rental signs to find our designated parking bay in the P1 car park on the ground floor.

Our International Airport branch can be found right off the airport exits from the highway. Just follow the signs to the international airport, where the boom gates will open automatically. Then park your vehicle in our designated parking bay and head to our offices on the level 2 Arrivals Hall to return your keys.

Can you hire a SUV to go one way?
Yes, you can hire a one-way SUV rental from many of Redspot’s branches! Just pick up in Brisbane and drop off in Cairns, Sydney, Melbourne and more.
However, our one-way rentals usually come with a drop fee (aka one-way fees) to cover the cost of moving the vehicles back to their original branch. This fee amount will be shown to you during the online booking process, so you know what you are paying for from day 1 and can easily compare prices.
Interstate one-way rentals:
- You can book one-way SUV hire between our East Coast branches (QLD, NSW, ACT, VIC, TAS), subject to vehicle availability.
Restricted state one-way rentals:
- Due to the remoteness of certain branches (NT, SA, WA), one-way hire is only available between Redspot branches within the state/territory from which it is rented.

What is the age requirement to hire an SUV with Redspot?
You must be 25 years and over to hire our full range of SUVs in Brisbane. For young drivers between 21 and 25, you can hire any of our compact and economy SUVs instead.
Can I hire an SUV with a foreign licence?
Yes, temporary overseas visitors can hire a car, but you must have:
- A full, valid driver’s licence and passport.
- Licences must have photo identification.
- If the licence is not in English, then you will need an officially translated document from your embassy or road traffic authority in your home country.
- Some countries may need to apply for an international driving permit.
Can I book a long-term SUV rental?
Yes, we offer long-term SUV rentals for both personal use and businesses. Just enter your booking requirements or call our friendly team to help you find the right long-term booking for you.
Can I take a rental SUV off-road?
Only our 4WD car hires are suitable for off-road driving. In a standard SUV, it’s best to stick to sealed roads to ensure you are safe and covered under insurance.
Is a standard SUV or an intermediate SUV bigger?
In general, our standard SUVs are bigger than our intermediate SUVs and offer more passenger or cargo space. Our intermediate SUVs are midsize or crossovers and may have improved fuel efficiency over standard SUVs.
How many passengers do your SUVs fit?
Our SUV rental cars can comfortably fit 5 passengers, including the driver. If you need additional seating, check out our minibus rentals.
What is a premium SUV rental?
Our premium SUVs offer more space and features than other SUVs. With a larger engine, multi-speed transmission and more luggage space, the driving experience is enhanced in a premium SUV.
