Car Hire Location Information
Redspot Car Rentals Darwin Airport car hire has a rental service desk inside the terminal building. All rental vehicles are located a very short walk from the building, inside the airport’s car rental parking area.
You can find a Redspot Car Rentals counter at major airports including Sydney, Brisbane and Perth airports.
All vehicles collected from Darwin Airport have 100km free p/day included on all vehicle classes. Additional kilometres are charged $0.275 per kilometre.
If driving a rental car in Darwin make sure you include a portable GPS in your car rental reservation to make your visit even easier.
Permitted Area of Use:
Unlike coastal Australia, Darwin is surrounded by very regional and restrictive zones you are not covered by your damage liability or roadside assistance if you travel to. For more information, please refer to the permitted area of use section in our terms and conditions.
All of Redspot Car Rentals vehicles are an average age of 6 months and are well maintained and serviced regularly. However, in the worst of situations if you happen to have a mechanical fault to your hire car, all our Redspot Car Rentals vehicles are covered by 24 hour roadside assistance. If the vehicle fault was not caused by the renter, there will be no cost incurred. Redspot Car Rentals also offers a premium roadside assistance package that covers all those times where you accidentally leave the lights on, or lock the keys in the car.
A drop box is available at all Redspot Car Rentals counters for all after-hours returns. So if you lose track of time while exploring Darwin you can leave your keys in the after-hours drop box located at the in-terminal car rental counter and be on your way in no time.
