**Contract fee: We have a small surcharge to cover our costs to draw up our rental agreement with you.
***Premium location fee: Sometimes a premium airport or downtown location will charge us an additional surcharge for each rental and we are upfront about this cost in your package! The price will depend on the location selected.
****Registration recovery fee: We pay a surcharge to cover our vehicle registration and compulsory third-party insurance costs and we highlight this clearly in your package breakdown.

We have 3 locations across Perth for smooth, convenient SUV hire. Our vehicles come with a minimum rental period of 24 hours and a fast, hassle-free pick-up process, making it easy for you to pick up and go.
Perth City
Our Perth City Branch is located right in the heart of the city’s CBD, at street level, next to the Hyatt Regency Hotel entrance on the right-hand side. For night owls, just head to our designated parking bay and drop your keys into our 24/7 secure drop box. Too easy!
Perth International Airport
Whether you’ve just arrived or you’re wrapping up your Perth adventure, it’s easy to find Redspot throughout Perth International Airport. You can find us in T1 Public Arrivals Hall, the T2 Baggage Reclaim and the T1/ T2 airport car park booth. We also have after-hours pick-up options available. For late-night drop-off, simply park in Redspot’s designated area and drop your keys off in our secure drop box, located at the car park kiosk on the wall to the left of the entrance door.
Perth Domestic Airport
You can find our Perth Domestic Airport branch located within the T4 Baggage Reclaim area. We’re open Monday to Sunday, with after-hours pick-up options available. Just give us a ring on 08 6400 6009 or reach out via email at perth.airport@redspot.com.au to arrange a pick-up.
We also have an after-hours drop-off available. Follow the signs to the airport return area by the T3/T4 terminal building and park your vehicle in the designated area. Then, head to the Redspot dropbox located inside Terminal 4 and leave your key there. Easy as that!

Can you hire a SUV to go one way?
Yes, you can hire a one-way SUV rental from many of Redspot’s branches! Just pick up in Perth and drop-off in Brisbane, Sydney, Melbourne and more.
However, our one-way rentals usually come with a drop fee (aka one-way fees) to cover the cost of moving the vehicles back to their original branch. This fee amount will be shown to you during the online booking process, so you know what you are paying for from day 1 and can easily compare prices.
Interstate one-way rentals:
- You can book one-way SUV hire between our East Coast branches (QLD, NSW, ACT, VIC, TAS), subject to vehicle availability.
Restricted state one-way rentals:
- Due to the remoteness of certain branches (NT, SA, WA), one-way hire is only available between Redspot branches within the state/territory from which it is rented.

Do you install baby seats for us?
No, unfortunately we are not able to install baby seats in your hire car for liability reasons.
Safety is our Number one priority at Redspot. We voluntarily comply with Australian state laws and safety policies, and therefore cannot install child seats for customers. However, we do offer detailed instructions on how to install a baby seat as safely and securely as possible during vehicle pick-up.
What is the age requirement to hire an SUV with Redspot?
You must be 25 years and over to hire our full range of SUVs in Perth. For young drivers between 21 and 25, you can hire any of our compact and economy SUVs instead.
Can I hire an SUV with a foreign licence?
Yes, temporary overseas visitors can hire a car, but you must have:
- A full, valid driver’s licence and passport.
- Licences must have photo identification.
- If the licence is not in English, you will need an officially translated document from your embassy or road traffic authority in your home country.
- Some countries may need to apply for an international driving permit.
Can I book a long-term SUV rental?
Yes, we offer long-term SUV rentals for both personal use and businesses. Just enter your booking requirements or call our friendly team to find the right long-term booking for you.
Can I take a rental SUV off-road?
Only our 4WD car hires are suitable for off-road driving. In a standard SUV, it’s best to stick to sealed roads to ensure you are safe and covered under insurance.
Is a standard SUV or an intermediate SUV bigger?
In general, our standard SUVs are bigger than our intermediate SUVs and offer more passenger or cargo space. Our intermediate SUVs are midsize or crossovers and may have improved fuel efficiency over standard SUVs.
How many passengers do your SUVs fit?
